Getting Ready for Bootcamp

Welcome to the blog for the first session of Digital Photography Bootcamp 2006! We're looking forward to seeing all of you. The purpose of this blog will be to provide a place for discussions, sharing ideas, things you've learned, and asking questions.

Just as a warm-up, here is where we stand with next week's program. There are 33 people signed up (as of Wednesday the 21st at noon), which is a great size. Roughly half of you are bringing your own computers, and the other half are using the computers at the camp. Most are bringing their own cameras, but we have plenty of loaner cameras as well.

Anne and I are making a run out to the camp on Thursday to make final arrangements for our photo hikes/nature walks. We will be at Pack Forest late on Sunday, as will a small number of the participants. We will have the keys to your cabins, so look for signs to point you in the right direction. It will take us awhile to get everything set up that evening, but if we get done early enough we may do an evening campfire social for the early birds!
